Almost time.

Okay. Online results first....pretty sad. In all honesty, I haven't been playing as much online this month. I've actually been enjoying other things about summer I guess thus I haven't played as much. If I have, it has been anything significant. So far, I've pretty much broke even/slightly ahead in cash games..try a 0.1 BB/hr in .05/.10 (lol). Had a bad start then made it up. I changed my spreadsheet to reflect BB/hr so that I could get a better idea of how I'm doing besides just my "totals" as it were. Overall, I'm slightly down this month as I tried a couple of SNGs (a fifth place and a fourth place) and a tournament with no success.

I start a weeks vacation on Friday so then I'll be starting my live game run. I got about 7 days for my holidays so here is a tentative plan.

Saturday: Casino Brantford (2/5 or 5/10 limit depending on the games)
Sunday: Probably movie/laundry day
Monday: Casino Fallsview (I want to try a step 1 satellite for the WPT event this fall)
Tuesday: Probably Canada's Wonderland with my brother-in-law.
Wednesday: No plans here yet
Thursday: GBH Casino or Casino Niagara (depends on how the other two days go ;-)..could be neither one as I may play some NL on that Monday)
Friday: Some stuff around home.

That's pretty much it. I have about $400 bucks so we will see how it goes. Of course, this is subject to change depending on weather forecasts and such.

Another month in the books...

This month's results was just a 5% increase. Overall, I was down in my cash game (which would have been worse if my last cash session didn't erase most of my deficit leaving only a 5BB downfall) but my cash NL, tournament, and PLO8 forays made a modest profit.

I'm now starting to feel like I understand the game better and have been making some correct value bets on later streets....feels good to know that I'm making correct decisions. However, sometimes you get people who just keep putting money in the pot with the worse hand and getting lucky...that I don't mind although it stings a bit when it happens.

This month, I'm starting to record on my spreadsheet not just money lost/won but also my BB/hr win/loss rate as well. I want to get a better idea of how things are going in those games to see if I'm actually beating them. Should be interesting....later.
