Game over for FTP??

Alderney suspends Full Tilt's operating licence

And half my bankroll is there...lol. I'll be surprised if I ever see that money again. Since it is all play money to me (since I never deposited money from my account), I'm not as pissed as I should be. Looks like these guys are in a heap of trouble.

It seems that these licensing organizations do have some effect. I'm glad I have money on Stars and Party Poker so I'm still in action.

Speaking of action, I have been playing some of the 45 man tourneys on Stars. I seemed to have no trouble making it to 2 tables but got stuck there. Well, I finally binked one off for first place. Granted, it was only a 25c buyin...but I have to play within my bankroll.

In addition, in a few weeks, I'm taking some time off for a poker vacation. With my recent move east of Toronto, the closest B&M to me is now Great Blue Heron....less than an hours drive. Right now, on the agenda, it is GBH and Casino Brantford (I like that poker room) for some limit action. I'm debating whether to try Casino Niagara or Casino Rama for NL action but I'm undecided at this point.

Phil Ivey's statement....

You can read it here

Phil Ivey's statement

I can respect what he has done...even if he is just trying to distance himself from FTP. I also personally made a decision that, even though the majority of my bankroll and the easiest games for me are there, I won't play on FTP until the US players get their money....period.

It is costing me rakeback but I'll play on Party or PokerStars in the interim.
