Hey all.
Usually on Fridays, while I'm playing cash games and other stuff, I usually play the freeroll tournament for Canada players on Full Tilt. This is usually a luck fest as you get about 2500 people in the tournament and they only pay out the top 27 spots. However, it is worth the tourney experience anyway. With these type of tournies, people will pretty much play any hand and I usually make it halfway through the field before busting.
Last week, I finally broke through and finished in the money for a whopping two bucks. I must say that I'm pleased with the result. My final hand was me flopping two pair and the other guy having trips...c'est la vie.
However, what has me disappointed is the smallest cash games on full tilt. For limit poker, it is 0.25/0.50 when I last looked. For NL cash, there is a six max game of .05/.10 with a $3 cap. Needless to say, it doesn't leave me with a lot of options. Pokerstars has limits that are much lower so I had some room to grind up the money I have on there. Oh well, will have to try and get lucky I guess.
I've been reading about Clonie Gowen suing Full Tilt for $40M. Sheesh...I don't really care about this case one way or the other. If she is owed money, I hope she gets every penny. If this is a money-grabbing stunt, then she should pay the price for it. That's all I got to say about that.
Later.
