I really should write more.

Hello.

I really should write more in this. But there isn't much to write. I'm still playing and still slowly increasing my online bankroll. The cash games have been hit or miss but I've still made a small amount of money off them. I've started recording, in addition to the money, the stakes of the game that I'm playing. I'll look at the data in a couple of months to see if I'm actually beating the games I am playing.

I sat in a .10/.20 game and promptly lost my buyin. However, I reloaded because that game was juicy. I lost the buyin on a couple of bad beats but with the action in the game, I knew that I could get the money back....and I did...plus a little extra.

I also have occasionally been playing some freeroll tournaments when I get the chance. I actually cashed in one of them...299th out of over 6000. The prize obviously was not that exceptional...but I'm trying to get some tourney chops back.

I also played in a couple of sng's. Finished first in one and 8th in the other. The bad finish was really another bad beat...nothing you can do about that. Just get the money in with the best hand and you'll get the money eventually.

With my wife and daughter leaving town for a week, I've been planning my "casino junket" with some of the local casinos around here. Right now, I'm thinking Great Blue Heron, Brantford Casino, and either Casino Niagara or Fallsview. I'm leaning towards Fallsview at this point as I may want to take a shot at a WPT step satellite..but I'll see how it goes. When I get things finalized, I'll post some sort of itinerery.

Decent May Month

Okay, I know I haven't written in a while.

My results were pretty good...15% increase in the bankroll for the month...so I have no complaints.

The start of the month was pretty awful. My SNG results were pathetic to say the least. I usually finished around 4th or 5th with the odd cash in between. I then decided to switch to limit cash games for a change of pace.

I think I may stay with that for awhile. I'm trying to get my limit game in shape for when I visit some casinos in the Toronto area at the end of July.

So the WSOP starts up today at noon with the mixed hold'em event. Of course, once again, I won't be there this year. I hope to get there someday but that's life so it isn't the end of the world. Of course, I'll be watching the online coverage...

Now I got a small medical thing to get done...wisdom teeth....ouch. Getting them pulled out later today so that will lay me up for a few days. Fun stuff.
